That's some really good advice if this feature in particular concerns you. The game really gives you a lot of options to tailor your build around what matters most to you =)ĮDIT: Berserker976 is right about building your character around accuracy right from the start too. Movement speed is always my concern at the start of a new game, and I don't like the boots of blinding speed cheese, so I typically stack the speed stat and use the steed birth sign. Resist Magicka effects deter Blind's effect, one such example in on the Boots of Blinding Speed which can be worn from the beginning without complete blindness if the wearer is an Breton or an Orc due to their natural resistance to magic. You can do that if you want, but killing. Just bear in mind it will feel worst at the start of the game, and you'll be landing more hits the more you progress in your skills.ĮDIT: Berserker976 is right about building your character around accuracy right from the start too. Boots of Blinding Speed - Snag them off Pemenie the Trader north of Caldera. Cast the spell and if you are succesful, immediatly equip. I'd suggest playing without it at first, taking the game for a quick spin to see how you feel about the default system, and go from there. re: finding the boots of Blinding Speed HELP The easiest way I have found to do this is to make a resist magika spell 100 for one second.
MORROWIND BOOTS OF BLINDING SPEED MOD
Again, not necessarily a bad thing as you might like the extra challenge, but it's certainly not the magic "this mod fixes the combat system" it's often made out to be. So far the following have been tweaked: Staff of Carnal Channeling. With this overhaul Ive gone through many of the uniques. And one of the downsides here is a lot of enemies were designed with missing many of their attacks in mind, so the damage you take will increase with a mod like that too. Many of Morrowinds unique armor and weapons lacked unique models setting them appart from vanilla assets. Yes, it's trading one problem for another.
MORROWIND BOOTS OF BLINDING SPEED MODS
Without having tested this mod, I'd imagine this feels as much "gamey" as standing right in front of someone and don't hit them (while the animation and looks of it suggest otherwise).Īny opinions about the Attack/weaponry overhaul or mods that change the combat in general?Ĭlick to shrink.Seems no-one is noticing the bump =P isn't it more accurate to have your hit chance tied to your skill? Why should your damage magically increase with better skill? If I strike you with a heavy axe it doesn't matter if I can swing it masterfully or not. Now I'm thinking whether I actually want the Apoapse's Attack mod that replaces the chance to hit with damage according to your skills. Never finished the game back then but want to play it again (from start) and started to mod it (according to this list: ) Gotta hijack this thread because I don't want to open another one just for this and there is no OT about the game.
